To me Frank Morgan was one of the most amazing character actors in Hollywood. Before my passion for old classic films I just knew him for one movie, The Wizard of Oz (1939). His career spanned 33 years from 1916 until his death in 1949. He was also an Oscar Nominee for the film The Affairs of Cellini (1934). Some of the films you can find him in are Bombshell (1933), The Great Ziegfield (1936), Saratoga (1937), The Shop Around The Corner (1940), and Boom Town (1940) just to name a few. He had a lifetime contract with MGM.
